The Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library (SWC/SCL) at Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas is the institutional repository for the Fort Stockton Oral History Interview Project. The SWC has previously been involved in capturing the colorful socio-cultural history of the Trans-Pecos region and is happy to be back working in the Fort Stockton area. Reignited by the one hundredth anniversary of the Saint Ignacio Catholic Church and now working yearly with the Barrio Fest, this oral history project endeavors to get a cross-sectional representation of the community, emblematic of the cultural legacy of West Texas and broader southwest region. This series includes interviews conducted by Andy Wilkinson in 2013, 2015, and 2016, and then picking up yearly in 2019.
