The Crossroads of Music Archive was established in 2005. Interviews in this series were conducted by SWC/SCL staff between 2005 and 2023 who hoped to document the life, career, and creative processes of artists and songwriters from all across the Southwestern United States. In 2022 the archive was renamed the Southwest Music Archive. Interviews conducted from 2025 onward will be found in its respective collection.
