Childhood, Family was involved in theater, Buena Vista, CO – 4 years old, Two brothers and herself, got involved, Met Michael Martin Murphy- 9 years old, He told her to learn how to sing- I wanna be a Cowboy Sweetheart, Sang Riding on Paint, the other song, and God Bless, America, Learned to play the guitar, Older brother learned how to play the mandolin, Younger brother played the bass, Carin Mari and the Pony Express, Michael started hiring them to open for him, She can yodel, South Plains, Commercial Music Program, Graduated within the two years, Positive aspect- advanced her skills, Song writing class, Guitar playing, Steve Williams, Brent Wheeler, Jam sessions, Song Writing, Michael suggested that she learn to write, “Write what you know”, Old Log Barn, Her interests in regards to being a writer, Depends on her mood, Won’t just sit to write, Has to make a difference to at least just 1 person, Other than her self, Goal, Who can I affect by writing this song, What difference can I make today, Revising, Won’t share it until it fits, One of her weak points, the spark will go away, She has a difficulty stopping and starting again, Next, Looking into going to either Nashville or Austin, Or maybe going back to school, Advice to 9 year old Carin, Do what you love, Follow your heart, Do not give up
