This interview features Christine Martinez as she discusses her family life, background, and education. In this interview, Martinez describes growing up in a Hispanic family and the activism she learned from her parents. She then moves on to recall her first experience with racism and memories she has of her childhood. Martinez closes the interview by recounting her college education and the job she got with the city of Lubbock.
