Adams discusses her interest as a young girl in acquiring and riding horses; how the meeting Katie Carruth, the fortieth Masked Rider, as a kindergartener influenced her to want to serve in that role as an adult; Adams relates in detail the intricacies of the duties and roles involved in serving as Masked Rider, including how the horse is cared for, scheduling public appearances and traveling arrangements, aspects of rider’s uniform and traditions that are carried from one rider to the next, and the roles of the Masked Rider’s assistant team and the staff and faculty assigned to oversee the Masked Rider program.
