This interview features Richard Meek as he discusses his early career in the Texas Tech Music department. Meek describes what the Texas Tech Music department was like when he first started teaching in the 1960s. He recalls some of the other music faculty members that he worked with and what they were like. Meeks also explains the classes he teaches at the university, and some of the programming that the department does, as well as some extra activities he participates in.
