This interview features Fernando Perez as he discusses his life and background in music. In this interview, Perez describes how he got interested in music and learning how to play from his uncles. He then moves on to recount his early career in music and taking a break after his significant other passed away. He closes the interview by recalling what it was like to be a gay Mexican-American at Texas Tech, and portraying a woman in a play.
