Dell Brown and Nancy Vaughn are siblings who grew up in the Plainview area. Their father was county commissioner who helped to establish the farm to market roads in the county. Dell was a teacher and principal; Nancy worked in banking. In this interview, they speak about their home life and childhood. Nancy discusses getting married young, working for a general store during the Braceros program era, and eventually working in banking. Dell discusses his military service, his education at Texas Tech, becoming a teacher, and eventually a principal. They talk about their families today, providing anecdotes and observations about education through the years.
