H. A. Anderson, retired economics professor at Texas Tech, recalls his early life at Anson, Texas, and his activities with the Cowboy Band at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. He then discusses various significant aspects of Texas Tech’s administration, including anecdotes on committee work and administrative relationships. He also recalls D. O. Wiley, band director at both H-SU and Texas Tech.
