David Coin stands in for Lawton Chiles, then U. S. Senator and later Governor of Florida, who was the 1980 Honoree of the Thomas Jefferson Award for his work in getting the Sunshine Law of open door politics passed first in Florida, and eventually in every state and at the National level. Note: There are some tape malfunctions in the course of the speeches and presentation.
