Mrs. Daisy Kalmbacher, wife of Paul C. Kalmbacher, recalls her life and career with traveling tent shows during the 1920s and 1930s. Note: The second portion of Tape 1 is inaudible because of noise. In a telephone interview, Daisy Kalmbacher discusses her family’s involvement in tent shows and her life in early Lubbock. Materials loaned for copying, courtesy of Dr. Cliff Ashby, are also discussed.
