In a previous interview Luz Pedraza talked about his athletic career. He was a member of the Donna High School’s 1960 Texas Football State Championship team. Afterwards he had a successful career at Sul Ross State and was drafted by the NFL’s Denver Broncos. An injury Pedraza had suffered in college made Pedraza forget his NFL dream. However, a few years later he was the starting quarterback for the San Antonio Toros. The league lasted about eight years and then Pedraza decided to coach high school football. This interview expands on his various coaching stops in Texas high school football. He discusses the people that assisted him during his coaching career.
