Wiley Puckett, one-time shooting gallery operator and bicycle shop owner, talks about his life and various occupations as a general handyman since his arrival in Lubbock in the early 1900s. With the backing of Joe Earhart, he invented an automobile tire, which he unsuccessfully tried to patent but finally abandoned after much expense and threatened litigation for patent infringement.
