Overview of his life; Big Spring, Texas; Graduated from high school – 1970; Drafted in 1970; Returned in 1972; Description of Big Spring, Texas; The majority of the population was Caucasian; Segregation existed; A Black school existed until the 1970’s; Mexicans were allowed to go to the same school as Caucasians; Spanish-speaking frowned upon at schools; Vietnam; Met people from all over the country; Keeping in touch with his friends he met over there; Meeting other Mexican-Americans in Vietnam; Protesters – Anti-war Supporters; Discrimination.
