In this interview, Robert Meinecke discusses growing up in Lubbock Texas and attending Lubbock High School. He outlines his college education at Texas Tech and University of Arizona, teaching in Dallas, and then returning home to Lubbock. He taught at Lubbock High School from 1984-2008, as well being a distance educator at Texas Tech, and in 2010 began teaching at South Plains College. He also speaks about his work with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, particularly their youth orchestra.
